FAQs

Why do I have to use Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher to pay my taxes?

The development of our Tax software was subject to many cost containment decisions for current and future options. Our research revealed that Internet Explorer accounts for more than 80% of all browser usage. Adding the other browser options would have cost an excessive amount plus future support costs. Our strong commitment of effective stewardship of tax dollars left us with only one choice. We chose to serve the greatest number of our customers at the lowest cost.

We have a long way to go in a rapidly moving technological world. Our work here is not static but constantly evolving.

Note: This web site is compatible with all browsers. It is the above mentioned software that currently requires Internet Explorer 6.0 or  higher (Functionality purposes).

What is the mailing address for payments?

Mail payments to:
Pulaski County Treasurer
P.O. Box 430
Little Rock, AR 72203
* Please include your account/parcel number on all payments & correspondence or they will be returned to you*

What is my County Code?

The County Code for Pulaski County is 60.

Why can't I pay my taxes from work?

Most companies have security features in place to protect their investments and restrict access to certain web sites.

According to our research and feedback from tax payers, it seems that any company using ASP.net software on their server will not grant access to our software, via our web site.

If you are experiencing problems paying your taxes online from work, please try from your home or from somewhere else. If you are still having issues, please contact the Webmaster of this site.

Why do we charge a convenience fee for using our online services?

The Treasurer's Office does not charge a fee to use our online services. However, the company providing us with the ability to pay your taxes online does. Most, if not all companies are charged a fee for use of services rendered through the processing of any currency over the Internet and the majority of those companies have the ability to absorb this cost through various means. Means, such as adding it to the cost of a product and passing in onto the consumer or absorbing the cost all together. The Treasurer's Office is not in the business to make money (profit), so we cannot afford to absorb these types of costs.

Who do I contact if I have questions or if I am having issues paying my taxes online?

If you are having technical issues paying your taxes online, please contact the Webmaster who will be happy to assist you.

If you have a question that is not a technical related issue, please call 1-501-340-6040 and a Customer Service Specialist will be glad to assist you.
