- Collects property taxes and municipal, county, school and special improvements district taxes
- Prepares a list of delinquent property taxes for newspaper publication
- Certifies tax delinquent lands to the Arkansas Commissioner of State Lands
- Disburses county and school district funds
- Receipts county tax collections, county turnback funds, federal matching funds, state aid to school district funds and revenues from various taxing units of the county
- Signs checks authorized by the county court
- Keeps an accurate, detailed account of receipts and disbursements of the county
- Makes a Treasurer's Fund Report to the Quorum Court on the fiscal condition of the county
