When are taxes due?
Taxes are due upon receipt.
Does my entire tax bill have to be paid in full?
All past due taxes must be paid in full. Current taxes can be made in installments. We have suggested 3 optional payment amounts on your original tax statement.
Where are payments accepted?
Payments are accepted at all six locations (see Locations tab above for address and hours). There is also a drop box located on 2nd street and will be available from October 1 through October 15. Drop box payments must include a coupon or the account number must be written on the check, and no cash is accepted.

When is the last day I can make a payment before penalties and interest are added?
Mail that is postmarked October 15 and payments made in person or by Internet or phone before 11:59 PM on October 15 will post without penalties and interest.
When do Internet/Phone payments close?
Internet and phone payments close at 11:59 PM on October 15, after which all payment processes will be off line temporarily (typically 2-3 days) for processing. Please refer to our home page for up to date details.
How are taxes calculated?
Taxes are calculated by multiplying the "taxable value" (20% of the appraised value established by the Assessor) times the millage rate, which is 1/10th of a cent (excluding improvement tax, timber tax or Assessor penalties). Millage Rates 2014 Payable 2015
How much are late penalty fees?
Late penalty is 10% of the base amount plus an advertising fee of $1.75 for personal property and $1.50 for real estate.
Is there a fee for using online services?
The Treasurer's Office does not charge a fee to use our online services. However, a portal administration fee is charged by Information Networks of Arkansas / Arkansas.gov which provides us with the electronic means to pay your taxes.
How can I get a copy of my tax receipt?
Please be advised that we have discontinued mailing tax receipts. Payment receipts and duplicate bills can be obtained on this website under the "Pay Taxes/Tax Inquiry" tab.
When is the last day to apply for the Homestead Credit?
You can apply for the Homestead Credit at the Pulaski County Assessor's Office.  Please visit the Assessor's Website or call (501) 340-6190 for more information.  The last day the Homestead Credit can be applied to your tax account is October 15.
How do I qualify for other tax exemptions, such as churches, etc.?

Paying taxes from a work computer:
Most companies have security features in place to protect their investments and restrict access to certain websites.
According to our research and feedback from taxpayers, it seems that any company using ASP.net software on their server will not grant access to our software, via our website.
If you are experiencing problems paying your taxes online from work, please try from your home or try one of our other pay options. If you are still having issues, please contact your company's IT Department.
Amendment 79:
In November 2000, Amendment 79 was passed by Arkansas voters. This law allows a credit of up to $350 on the general taxes of an eligible taxpayer's real estate tax bill. Click here for more details.
Mortgage Companies:
If a mortgage company is responsible for paying your real estate taxes, and you received a bill from us, please forward your tax statement to them for payment. Be sure to include your mortgage loan number.
Redeemed Property:
When property is redeemed from the State Land Commission, the delinquent department sends a bill for the current year due. If property is redeemed a week/week and a half before deadline, then delinquent department has to have time to get paperwork from the state and send a bill. That bill is sent with 30 days to pay without penalties and interest.

City Liens, sanitation fees and Suburban Special Improvement Assessments must be paid before or with ad valorem taxes.
New address: You must notify both the Treasurer and Assessor to assure proper billing and notification.
Property taxes are billed one year in arrears.
